COMPETITION TEAMS
The Dance Lab OC competition teams cultivate excellence, commitment, and passion. Each dancer’s individual talents form the foundation for a well-rounded team. We develop perseverance to reach one’s goals and foster camaraderie in a competitive setting.
Season IV:
Intensives/Auditions Registration
Open to all Dancers May 13, 2024
Intensive I
July 24, 25, 26 (starts 4pm)
Audition - July 27
Intensive II
August 7, 8, 9 (starts 4pm)
Audition - August 10

Dancers will audition by age.

Teams and requirements:
Petite (4-7 years old) - audition only required (register for either one)
Mini (6-8 years old) - audition only required (register for either one)
Junior (8-11 years old) - audition and intensive required
Elite (12-18 years old) - audition and intensive required
*Levels are based on age and experience

Placement of competing team members in groups is done with tremendous thought by our creative director based on what would be best for both the individual dancer and the group.
Modern and fresh choreography, ideas, music and costumes for each group each year. No reproduction or re-use of previous dances and/or music.
Dancers are well prepared for the first competition of the season in 2025 and for every subsequent competition.
Every company group member is held to the same standard of technique, etiquette, dedication and participation.
Well-known and highly attended competitions are selected so dancers can experience challenges and personal satisfaction when achieving recognition at competitions.
